Who we are
Centumly is a free daily forecasting game, run by its owner as a personal project. Contact: hello@centumly.com.
What we collect
- Guests: an anonymous ID kept in your browser session, so your plays stay with you. No name or email.
- Accounts: your email address, username, and a password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider) or your Google account identifier if you sign in with Google.
- Gameplay: your answers, scores, finish times, streaks and badges.
- Usage events: a small number of events (such as starting or finishing a game, or using the share button), plus once per visit the website you came from, your country (from the request) and a device type. We don't store your IP address in our database.
- Errors: when something breaks, an error report with technical details and your account ID, if you are signed in.
Why we use it
To run the game and the leaderboards, keep your progress, send account emails (confirm, reset), understand how the game is used, and fix bugs. We don't sell your data and we don't show ads.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in (guest or account). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Traffic statistics come from a cookie-free analytics service.
Who processes it
- Supabase: database and sign-in.
- Vercel: hosting and cookie-free traffic statistics.
- Resend: account and alert emails.
- Sentry: error reports.
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
How long we keep it
- Account data is kept until you delete your account.
- Guest accounts that never played are removed automatically after 30 days. Guests who played are kept so they can come back and link an account.
- Daily totals shown on question and archive pages contain no personal data and are kept.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all your game data yourself in Settings. This is immediate and permanent. To get a copy of your data, or to correct it or object to how it is used, email hello@centumly.com. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Age
You must be 16 or older to create an account.
Changes
If this policy changes we update the date above, and announce material changes on the site.
